Really? We need another concert hall? In addition to Dink, Kresge and MemAud?
How about a theater, instead? The theater community and drama department are soooooo crunched for space.

A concert hall is definitely necessary! As it is, MemAud is not large enough for performances, such as the Jin Xing Dance Theatre/Stanford Symphony/Stanford choir concert a couple of weekends ago. The Dinkelspiel stage barely fits the entire symphony on its own. I won't even go into the sound quality of either hall.
I'm sure that in time, theater and drama will get their own space in the "arts" corner, but with music out of the way in places like MemAud, you'll likely get to stretch out a bit in the meantime.

One of the biggest reasons that space is limited with Drama is the limitation with only having one MemAud stage (Main, Pigott, Prosser) on at one time. With so much going to the concert hall, that should free up MemAud (and Pigott and Prosser) on more nights.

Dink, Kresge, and MemAud all are terrible spaces, in addition to being hideous. Also, Kresge doesn't really count.
