As a nervous parent of a freshman who sporadically reads the crime blotter to gauge how safe the campus is, I appreciate the humor, but would also appreciate knowing "just the facts...m'am". I'm not even sure any of these so-called "crimes" really occurred!

Schizophrenics are generally not violent at all. It's a common misconception and it's sad that it is being perpetuated in the police blotter, but I just thought I'd try to let you know.
