Great season. Bad game last night. Azzi still the best Stanford female hoops player. Can't lay claim to title of Best without having won a championship.

I agree, great season, horrid game last night. It's just a shame because I'm pretty sure Women's Hoops will not be taken seriously again for many years.
But it appears that's the way we succeed. We only lost because everyone seemed to think we'd win.

Wiggins may not claim a national championship but she gave Stanford great exposure. Thank goodness our star, Candace Parker, had a more energetic set of stars to back her up from the beginning of the game. I was just surprised at how quickly the Stanford players looked like deer in the headlights. However, the young players at Stanford and their experience at the national championship level will make Stanford a formidable foe again next year. Hope we meet again next year and may be best team win because any great national-level matchup between two powerhouses helps to promote women's athletics.

Advice to this young Stanford team...never believe your own hype. ESPN's experts are jinxes!
