Congratulations to Stanford for bringing Johnny Dawkins out to coach the Cardinal. "Johnny D" will be missed here at Duke and in the ACC, but with former North Carolina State Coach Herb Sendek having taken the head coaching position at Arizona State and now Coach Dawkins taking over Stanford's excellent program, we ACC hoops fans will have a lot to cheer about in following our new favorite teams in the PAC-10.

Just think if we could have a PAC-10-ACC holiday invitational tournament extravanganza, what an exciting event that would be for fans on both coasts!

The best of luck to Coach Johnny Dawkins and the Stanford Cardinal basketball program.

Do look like a fool and go back on your word.

Thanks for the comment listed above. I'm sure Miles Plumlee will read it and want to get to the Stanford campus as fast as he can.
I figured Johnny Dawkins would talk to Plumlee and hold the commitment to the previous program and coach, but comments like the one above make me question that. Maybe he'll end up at Duke, where his younger brother has already committed.
You know, I always figured that Stanford and its alumni were classy, like a Duke of the West Coast. It looks more that, instead of being classy, Stanford has the crassness of Carolina fans. Nothing classy there! Good luck, Johnny Dawkins!!
