I lived in Chile for several years, as well as many other countries. No group of people is fundamenatally evil; however, the Chileans have got to be one of the most xenophobic, jingoistic bunch of morons anywhere in the world. Most Chileans secretly love Pinochet and his actions. Chileans are essentially third-worlders frustrated at their country not being included as a bona fide "first world" country. Next time, go to Peru, Bolivia or even Argentina, the people are much friendlier, and less hostile!
