It would be nice if more visitors to Africa dwelled on the wonderful experiences they had rather than rehashing "close-calls" with disease and wildlife that have become so stereotypical of African adventure stories. Thanks for perpetuating dumb and immature stereotypes asshole.

You are saying that our midterms aren't bad because you went to Africa?
Maybe you should have a little dose of relativism yourself. Undergrads at Stanford are paying their way through this place. They have abusive boyfriends. Their dads are dying of cancer and are struggling with the closest people in their lives not accepting their homosexuality. NEWSFLASH: MIDTERMS STILL SUCK. Just because mommy paid your way to Africa for a summer doesn't make you rougher around the edges.
Side note: Woo. You went to Africa. You are *SOOO* much more wise then all of us. Oh wait. I meant immature.
