What's really pathetic is that anyone would at all take seriously an endorsement from a group calling themselves "The Students of Color Coalition." What would be the reaction to "White-Skinned Students Coalition" or something similar? It is wrong to treat people differently based on skin color and I hope students continue to reject stupid uses for laughable terms like "students of color," and I also hope they continue to reject other racist, wannabe P.C. efforts to divide people along racial lines. Some people might want to try to create the perception that it is acceptable and indeed expected common practice to regard people differently or assume special needs based on skin color, but many of us know in our hearts that this unfortunate and thankfully waning racist trend is wrong and needs to end.
