Wasn't it Winston Churchill who once said "However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results".
Sending more troops will just lead to further loss of life and at best merely serve to postpone the inevitable failure of this disastrous and ill-advised war.
Once again it appears the president is more concerned with saving face than the lives of US servicemen or Iraqi Civilians.
