Thank you for this very important story. I thought I should also tell you that there is a graduate student on campus, Peter Jordan, who is in the graduate film program in the Art department and he documneted the genocide in Darfur this past summer in a film called, Darfur Rising that is an amazing documentary on the suffering and death of children in this region of the world.

What an interesting article, and a sad reality of what is happening to the people in Darfur. It is important that any military intervention have a plan of life after the regime. The Sudan diaspora must also act and speak out, and call for change within their country, otherwise the efforts of foreigners are in vain.
