I HATE problems but LOVE solutions! I have a list of solutions, and just throwing more money at the challenges is not the answer.
We must first agree on the specific minimum targets for primary and secondary education (prepare students for success in the outside world..) and then develop curriculum and teaching improvements to accomplish these targets. Address me at jsplg@comcast, if you are interested in specifics.
We also need to refocus our limited resources on the top priorities, and quit squandereing misguided policies and billions of dollars.
