Architecture, like law and medicine, is a profession requiring professional training. Hence it is important not to equate this program in Architectural DESIGN ("pre-architecture") to Law, Medical, or Architecture school / professional training. It might be noted that a good number of the lead instructors in this program are not licensed, practising architects--but it is a step in the right direction.

The new architecture program is just beginning to hit its stride, but Marga is incorrect in the statement that "a good number of the lead instructors are not licensed, practicing architects." To the contrary, Most of the studios are taught by both licensed and practicing architects or landscape architects many of which have their own active firms.

"Joseph",
Terrific to hear that the program is moving in such a positive direction!
