Wow! I did not know that this article was written. But I must call a point of order: I am Morris' cousin, not niece.

While at Stanford Morris was a great resource for someone to serve as a dad and friend while I was away. He provided invaluable opportunities for me to meet important people and directed me when I had questions about university policy with my VSOs. We would go out to lunch together, too and it was so wonderful and comforting having him on campus with me. It was because of him that I had a home away from home.
