This report covers a selection of crimes from May 4 to May 12 as recorded in the Stanford Police Department Public Bulletin.

Sunday, May 4

n A victim left her laptop unattended at a conference room at Old Union between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. The victim’s laptop was missing upon her return.

Tuesday, May 6

n Between 6:15 and 6:30 a.m. at the Kappa Sigma house, an unidentified group of 5-6 students threw eggs against the dining room. Nothing was broken but the shells.

Wednesday, May 7

n A case of unexpected expectorating occurred at the Escondido Communications Hub between 6:40 and 6:45 p.m.

Friday, May 9

n Between 10:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8 and 10:45 a.m. the next day, an unknown suspect vandalized a wooden bench that was bolted to the cement at FloMo.

n Between 12:25 a.m. and 1:10 a.m. Friday, May 9, Old Union was the scene of battery and assault. The victim observed the suspect attempting to steal his bike seat. The victim confronted and photographed the suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim’s arm causing the victim to fall. The suspect was cited and released.

Saturday, May 10

n Between 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 9 and 2:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, burglary occurred at Sigma Alpha Epsilon. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked dorm room and proceeded to steal a video game console and critical video games.

Sunday, May 11

n Between 1 and 2:30 a.m. at Stillman House, unknown suspect or suspects took a wallet from the dance floor at the party and used the credit card to make purchases.

Monday, May 12

n At 7:35 p.m., a suspicious looking person visited Robinson House. Although the suspect was schizophrenic, he has never been violent towards others. He may have been en route to Stanford University to visit his niece.

n At the Graduate School of Business between 1:25 and 1:45 p.m., an unknown suspect took an unattended laptop computer from a classroom.

n At 735 Dolores Street, an igneous theft occurred. Unknown suspect or suspects took natural stone balls without the owner’s consent.

Wednesday, May 14

n Between 5:19 and 5:24 a.m., an unknown suspect stole cash from the locked safe in Old Union. The suspect used keys to enter the building and the locked room. The suspect had the combination to open the safe.
