This report covers a selection of crimes from Mar. 5 to Apr. 1 as recorded in the Stanford Police Department Public Bulletin.

Wednesday, Mar. 5

-- At 11:30 a.m. on east campus, a vehicle collided into another vehicle, causing damage. The driver fled the scene without providing contact information.

Monday, Mar. 10

-- At 2:40 a.m., an unknown suspect climbed a fence and balcony, entered the victim’s unlocked sliding glass door and removed five bottles of beer from the refrigerator. The bottles were found aligned along the outside of the balcony ridge. The suspect fled on foot.

-- Between 11:30 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house, the victim entered his locked dorm room and discovered an unknown suspect inside. The suspect jumped from the window and ran from the scene. No property was taken. The victim did not chase the subject.

-- Between 2:00 and 9:15 a.m. at Studio 5 on Olmsted Road, a suspect unlawfully attempted to commit a violent injury to a victim with a knife.

Tuesday, Mar. 18

-- At 4:50 a.m., a previously reported missing person was located by deputies in good health. He was removed from the missing person system.

-- At 5:45 a.m., the arrestee was contacted inside Meyer Library asleep. He had an outstanding arrest warrant and was cited and released on the warrant.

Monday, Mar. 24

-- Between 4 p.m. on Mar. 21 and 1:50 a.m. on Mar. 24, a reporting party observed a subject drive a golf cart off the road and run away. The cart was impounded and subsequently reported as stolen.

-- At 2:42 a.m., a suspect was seen damaging a bathroom window at Wilbur Hall, as well as a bicycle belonging to a student and a vacuum cleaner belonging to student housing.

-- At 4:10 p.m. at Tresidder Memorial Union, a reporting party stated that he was moved by a supervisor at a department meeting.

-- An unknown suspect made several cash transfers from a victim’s bank account at Stanford Federal Credit Union.

Thursday, Mar. 27

-- Between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Nixon School parking lot, an unknown suspect broke into multiple cars and removed cameras, wallets, purses, cell phones and other personal items.

Monday, Mar. 31

-- At 7:40 p.m. outside Kimball Hall, a victim observed a person exiting his dorm room carrying his laptop computer. A struggle ensued when the victim and several other students attempted to keep the arrestee from fleeing. The arrestee was taken into custody.

-- At 4:15 p.m. in the general quad, a pedestrian was struck by a passenger car. The passenger was treated at the scene and transported to Stanford ER.

Tuesday, Apr. 1

-- In front of the Kappa Sigma House, an unknown suspect or suspects took a Stanford University roadside directional sign from Campus Drive.
