Theft. Choking. Refusing to pay cab fare. This report covers selected crimes from June 6 to July 2 as recorded in the University Public Bulletin.

Monday, June 12

At 11:30 p.m., an empty, abandoned beer keg was found in the Quad. It had no indication of ownership and was seized as lost property.

Tuesday, June 13

At 10:35 p.m., a suspect stealing cans from a recycling bin was found to have an active warrant, and was later booked in the main jail.

Wednesday, June 14

At 8:10 a.m., “X” reported that he was followed by an older, unidentifiable adult white female.

Thursday, June 15

At 10:15 p.m., a victim’s purse was stolen in the Quad while attending Senior Dinner.

Tuesday, June 20

At 3:00 p.m., an unknown male asked to trade bikes with another person. The accepting party is now suspicious that the bike is stolen property.

Thursday, June 22

At 7:50 a.m., a large tree limb fell on an unoccupied vehicle.

Monday, June 26

At 8:51 a.m., person “P” was choking on a pen cap that she had swallowed. She was treated by the Palo Alto Fire Department, but declined further transportation and medical attention.

At 6:00 a.m., a vehicle’s front, passenger-side window was smashed, and items were stolen from inside.

Tuesday, June 27

At 6:45 p.m., a victim reported that an unknown man entered her room, threatened her with a knife, and proceeded to kiss her neck and face for a few minutes before leaving.

Friday, June 30

At 4:00 a.m., an unknown person refused to pay cab fare upon arrival at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house.
