Junior Kira Hillman scored a hat trick in Stanford’s 10-6 win over Hawai’i in the third-place game at the Stanford Invitational this weekend. In the team’s four games, Hillman finished with five goals, with a pair against Cal to go with the three against the Rainbow Wahine. Stanford’s only loss on the weekend was a battle with No. 2 USC which the Trojans won by just one goal.

Cardinal women lose 4-3 decision to tournament champion Georgia Tech

The No. 1 Stanford women’s tennis team’s exited in the semifinals of the 2008 National Team Indoors, as the team team ended its tourney bid with a 4-3 loss to No. 4 Georgia Tech.
Water polo wins three of four at Invitational

While a third place showing in the team’s own tournament might be considered a let-down — especially for a team with serious title aspirations like the No. 3 Cardinal — that was certainly not the case here.

The Stanford men’s tennis team continued its winning ways last Friday, beating No. 70 BYU 7-0 at home. It was the second straight win for the No. 40 Cardinal, and its second straight shutout victory.
